The Underwire Podcast
The Underwire Podcast: Supporting You When Life Needs a Lift.
Life doesn't come with a handbook. Most of us are just making sh*t up as we go, trying things, figuring things out, occasionally making a mess, and (hopefully) having a little fun along the way.
The Underwire Podcast is a place for honest conversations about creativity, courage, self-trust, personal growth, and all the messy, wonderful, sometimes ridiculous parts of our lives.
Hosted by Jess Goldey, creative coach, musician, speaker, and lifelong work-in-progress, The Underwire explores what it means to embrace who you are, trust yourself, and take action on the things that matter to you, even when fear, self-doubt, or the occasional existential crisis gets in the way.
Through conversations with artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday humans with stories worth sharing, we explore what it looks like to do things differently, navigate life's curveballs, overcome challenges, and build a life that feels like your own.
We'll talk about making/building things, taking chances, figuring it out as you go, knowing when to keep going and when it's time to walk away, and giving yourself permission to do things simply because they bring you joy.
No perfect people. No pretending to have it all figured out. No one-size-fits-all advice. Just real conversations, different perspectives, some humor, and reminders that you don't need permission, perfection, or a five-year plan to start creating a life YOU actually want.
So take what you need, leave what you don't, and remember: the small steps count, too.
